Samba winbind error, "Could not change directory to home directory /home/%D/%U: No such file or directory"

Issue

• Unable to change to customized home directory when log in through samba winbind with error "Could not change directory to home directory /home/%D/%U: No such file or directory"

This is NOT the correct home directory, /home/XYZ/%U is specified on the UNIX Attributes tab in Active Directory Users and Computers.
