CUPS printer fail-over (without load balancing) in RHEL

Issue

  • Can CUPS be configured to provide fail-over for print jobs without load balancing them?
  • How to configure CUPS so that a print job sent to print queue "A" will fail over to print queue "B", while jobs sent to print queue "B" will fail over to printer "C", etc., but without print jobs being load-balanced between print queues "A" and "B", between print queues "B" and "C", etc.
