Port settings in "/etc/rdma/mlx4.conf" are being ignored

Issue

  • When setting port options in /etc/rdma/mlx4.conf the modes are not being properly set.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0
    • kernel-3.10.0-123.13.2.el7 or earlier
    • Mellanox ConnectX-3 Network Adapter
