How to manage FQDN hostname logging while using rsyslog in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6?
Issue
- Need to forward different name other than the hostname of the server to the logs using rsyslog daemon.
- Need to avoid FQDN(Fully Qualified Domain Name) in logs while using rsyslog package.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2
- rsyslog-4.6.2-12.el6.x86_64
