Impact of MRG Management Console (Cumin) Installation

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

We want to install MRG Management Console for monitoring MRG Messaging. According to "Management Console Installation Guide", Cumin is one of the components to be installed. The following are our concerns:

  • Would Cumin installation impact or corrupt other existing databases on the same machine? These databases are used by other applications. Is there any other risk or impact which would be caused by installation of MRG management console?

  • Is the cumin database a separate db instance?

  • In the FAQ of MRG 2 Management Console Installation Guide, it says cumin db would be corrupted.
Do we know any reason causing it?
If cumin db is corrupted, will it impact other db instance in the same data folder?

Environment
