While parsing BPMN2 file developed in Eclipse editor it throws Could not find node to attach to: bpmn20:CallActivity_1 error

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • If a BPMN2 Process model is designed using the Eclipse Kepler based BPMN2 Diagram Editor, then the jBPM 6 engine is not able to load this model via runtimeEnvironmentBuilder.addAsset(resource, ResourceType.BPMN2) method. It instead throws the following exception.
Could not find node to attach to: bpmn20:CallActivity_1 XXXX.bpmn2
