Cold standby procedure for JBoss Portal

Issue

• We are moving to different hardware. Both the old and new environment will be using the same database, but the old and new environment will have its own NFS. In case we have an issue with the new hardware, we can bring up the old environment. Since both environment point to the same database but different NFS, I'm afraid the database and NFS can get out of sync. preventing the application from starting up. What's the proper deployment procedure?
