Is it possible to configure raw devices with custom names instead of using default '/dev/raw/raw<N>' naming format?

  • We are configuring the raw devices using lvm volumes as per the steps in solution 231323. Is it possible to assign a custom name (e.g. /dev/raw/vg1-lv1) for raw devices instead of using default /dev/raw/raw<N> naming format?
