RHEL 6 dmidecode update for SMBIOS 2.8
Issue
Recent HP BIOS releases update SMBIOS to v2.8. The dmidecode shipped with RHEL 6.5 does not fully support SMBIOS 2.8.
On a BL460...
$ dmidecode
# dmidecode 2.11 SMBIOS 2.8 present.
# SMBIOS implementations newer than version 2.7 are not
# fully supported by this version of dmidecode.
dmidecode upstream has supported it for about a year (dmidecode 2.12).
Is this slated for update in 6.6?
