Can't locate node on network after changing NIC

Issue

Customer has a Linux box that failed. We took out the hard drive out of the original unit and put it in an identical model. We Plugged it in and pinged the router. Error "No suitable device found" Customer goes in to network preferences and it seems that auto eth 1 seems to be active. This does not impact production. This is currently used as a backup server.
