JBoss ON 3.1.2 is unable to discover resources deployed via twiddle in JBoss EAP 5.1.2

Issue

JON can not discover some deployed resources (i.e. datasources/queues, etc) using twiddle to JBoss SOA 5.3.0 (which runs on EAP 5.1.2). The issue persists even after forcing a discovery scan using discovery --full or restarting the JON Agent. Also, no messages are logged in agent.log regarding those deployed resources (even when debug is enabled) showing that jon agent can not even see them.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (JON) 3.1.x
  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5.1.2
  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform (SOA-P) 5.3.0 (which runs on EAP 5.1.2)
