RHEV-M VM (Hosted Engine) halts and shutdown when ovirt-engine service is restarted

Issue

  • RHEVM VM halts when ovirt-engine service is stopped on the server with the message as below:
$ sudo service ovirt-engine stop
Stopping oVirt Engine: 
Broadcast message from root@mgmt-rhev-val.mgmt.testsystem-homemonitoring.int
    (unknown) at 13:45 ...

The system is going down for halt in 2 minutes!
"VM is shutting down!"
