Exception [IllegalStateException: Expected one insert row but got 0] when I try to persist cache entry into database with JBoss Cache

Issue

  • We are utilizing JBoss Cache with the JDBCCacheLoader to persist cache entries to an Oracle DB. When we try to persist a new entry we see this exception:

    Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Expected one insert row but got 0
    at org.jboss.cache.loader.AdjListJDBCCacheLoader.insertNode(AdjListJDBCCacheLoader.java:552)
