Does the background self heal also heal files on an empty directory in an instance where we have a failed RAID partition for the brick on one of the replica nodes?
Issue
We have 2 partitions on our Red Hat Storage nodes. Partition 1 is for the root filesystem, and is where /var/lib/glusterfs
and all gluster configuration data resides. Partition 2 is a data partition, used only for the brick directories. If there is a failure causing a complete loss of the contents of the data partition, would self heal get triggered on the empty partition when it is replaced?
