Why does entries disappear from ARP tables after some time in RHEL?
Issue
- The ARP output seems like it's not caching:
[root@server eth0]# arp -a
? (172.0.0.1) at 00:01:02:03:04:05 [ether] on bond0
[root@server eth0]#
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
