Why do CIFS/NFS mounts fail after upgrading kernel to kernel-2.6.32-431?
Issue
- Various mount points fail to mount after upgrading the kernel version to
kernel-2.6.32-431? - Unable to mount shares after upgrading the system the
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5. - dmesg shows the following error message
talpa-vfshook: Failed to synchronise post-mount! (-2)
