System registration to RHSM fails with error "Token authentication not supported by the entitlement server"
Issue
- Unable to authenticate using token-based authentication when registering a system with
community.general.redhat_subscriptionAnsible collection and gettingError message: Token authentication not supported by the entitlement server -
subscription-manager registration fails with the below error when using RHSM API token:-
# subscription-manager register --token=<RHSM_API_Token> Token authentication not supported by the entitlement server
