Does the lpfc driver support using all CPUs for IRQ's with hyper-threading?

Issue

Only the primary CPU in a hyper-threaded pair seems to handle IRQs in an F/C configuration. Is this problematic, and is there a way to ensure all CPUs get used to handle IRQs?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, 9, 10
  • Emulex HBAs using the Broadcom lpfc driver
  • System with multiple, hyper-threaded CPUs
