Machine API controller does not use new vCenter credentials
Issue
- vCenter events show failed login attempts after credentials change, that can lead to account lockout.
- After following the solution "Modifying the vSphere configuration in RHOCP4 ", the
machine-api-controllercontinues showing401: Unauthorizederror. -
After changing the password following the documentation steps in "Rotating cloud provider credentials manually" , the
machine-api-controllerpod will not update and reconcile the new credentials automatically."master-node" error: master-node: reconciler failed to Update machine: failed to reconcile tags: POST https://VCENTER-URL/rest/com/vmware/cis/session: 401 Unauthorized
