How to specify an alternative working directory for ReaR

Issue

How to change the default temporary directory that ReaR uses?
The default working directory may not have sufficient space, requiring the use of an alternative directory.
On RHEL 10, error "ERROR: Setting TMPDIR in a configuration file is not supported. To specify a working area directory prefix, export TMPDIR before executing 'rear'" outputs.
