Panic in ccoctl During Managed Identity Provisioning Due to Duplicate Azure Resource Group Entries

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • A segmentation fault occurs while provisioning managed identities using ccoctl in OpenShift 4.16 on Azure. The crash is consistently triggered when the same Azure resource group is specified for both installationResourceGroupName and dnsZoneResourceGroupName. This results in a nil pointer dereference during the role assignment process.
panic: runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference
