Issue
- pgvector crashes with:
LOG: 00000: server process (PID 13426) was terminated by signal 4: Illegal instruction
DETAIL: Failed process was running: SELECT ... (large set of floating point numbers)
- pgvector is being used as the embedding database for LibreChat AI inference server
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.5
pgvector-0.6.2-1.module+el9.5.0+21770+ad2986ef.x86_64- VMware VM
- Skylake Xeon Gold CPU
