Setting a persistent owner/group/mode on multipath devices in RHEL 6
Issue
- What is the correct procedure to setup multipath device permissions?

When system boots,
/dev/dm-*and/dev/mapper/<informix_dbspaces>are owned by root and even on changing ownership of owner and group to "informix" usingchownmakes it roll back to root in few seconds. -
Setting up uid and gid in
/etc/multipath.confdoes not work.
