Some OpenShift GitOps applications are stuck in unknown status with error "exit status 128"

Issue

• Some of the GitOps applications are stuck in unknown status.
• Getting exit status 128 when trying to sync applications.

• After updating OpenShift GitOps, some applications are showing the following error:
