Issue

  • The cluster is degraded with the following symptoms
    • Some nodes are not updated to the same version as other nodes
    • Cluster operator in degraded state
    • Machine Config Pools in an updating state
    • Cannot create new nodes
    • Current software version different from desired software version
Cluster Status: Failing
  Reason: ClusterOperatorDegraded
  Message: Cluster operator machine-config is degraded

The Cluster Version Operator is indicating issues.
Current:        4.16.20
Desired:        4.16.27

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP)
    • 4.12+
