LED indication for suspend action not working on Lenovo T14 laptop after RHEL 9.5 update

Issue

  • LED never blinks after RHEL 9.5 update to 5.14.0-503.15.1.el9_5, it stays on.
  • LED indicators work as expected in 9.4 kernel.
  • Since suspend quite often fails due to different reasons it is very problematic to verify that the computer is in suspend state. This has lead to several cases where laptops has run out of battery, resulting in data loss.
