Issue

  • lvextend to LVM raid device fails due to internal errors:
# lvextend -L +700G /dev/mapper/vg-lv
  Extending 2 mirror images.
  Insufficient suitable allocatable extents for logical volume vg/lv
  Internal error: Removing still active LV vg/lv_rmeta_0.
  You have a memory leak (not released memory pool):
   [0xNNxNxNNxxNNN] allocation
  Internal error: Unreleased memory pool(s) found.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, 9 and 10
  • lvm2
