Why does the Leapp Preupgrade fails with an error 'Curl error (6): Couldn't resolve host name’?

Issue

• The Leapp Preupgrade on the host registered to a Satellite or the Capsule server fails with the below error.

  Stderr: Host and machine ids are equal (xxxxxxxxxxxxx): refusing to link journals
  Errors during downloading metadata for repository 'rhel-9-for-x86_64-appstream-eus-rpms':
  - Curl error (6): Couldn't resolve host name for https://satellite.example.com/pulp/content/Org/Library/content/eus/rhel9/9.4/x86_64/appstream/os/repodata/repomd.xml [Could not resolve host:satellite.example.com]
  Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'rhel-9-for-x86_64-appstream-eus-rpms': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml:  
  All mirrors were tried
  

• If the system is registered with CDN then the Leapp Preupgrade fails and following error occurs:
