PKIX path building failed error when Language Support for Java(TM) VSCode extension available in DevSpaces attempts to import projects with dependencies from private Nexus with private certificates

Issue

• The Language Support for Java(TM) VSCode extension available in DevSpaces cannot import projects with dependencies stored in private Nexus repositories that use private CA-signed certificates
• When the extension attempts to import these Java projects, a PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target... error is thrown in the VSCode Output pane for the extension
