USB disconnect and re-connect to the hub via the port causes hang, with the message "xHCI host controller not responding, assume dead"

Issue

  • USB disconnect and reconnect to the hub via the port hangs with the message xHCI host controller not responding, assume dead
  • The USB Hub is connected to a USB port. If we disconnect & reconnect to the hub from the port, It shows below logs and does not respond until reboot is done.
