ImageContentSourcePolicy is not respected by CRIO while pulling images on a disconnected Red Hat Openshift Container Platform.

Issue

  • Despite having applied in the cluster an ImageContentSourcePolicy with a healthy mirror registry it is not getting respected and images cannot be pulled.
  • Pods are stuck in "ImagePullBackOff" state.
