When connecting RHEL 9.4 using "rhc" command the password is not taken as entered

If you have an exclamation mark in your password it will change the password for example it will change from "Password!14" to "PasswordCLEAR" which will cause problems when trying to connect. Not sure if this is down to input handling or I'm finding an environment variable by chance but I wanted to see if anyone else had seen this. I have actually changed my password and have managed to log in.

Does anyone have any experience of this?
