Issue

  • Some Deployments fail (devworkspace-controller-manager, devworkspace-webhook-server) fail to start due to the following error:

    Failed to pull image "registry.redhat.io/openshift4/ose-kube-rbac-proxy@sha256:fde6314359436241171f6361f9a1e23c60bdf2d421c0c5740734d1dcf5f01ac2": rpc error: code = Unknown desc = reading manifest sha256:fde6314359436241171f6361f9a1e23c60bdf2d421c0c5740734d1dcf5f01ac2 in registry.redhat.io/openshift4/ose-kube-rbac-proxy: manifest unknown

  • The 0.30.0 operator version will go into failed state, but leave the previous version in a "replacing" state.

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.x
  • Dev Workspace Operator 0.30.0
  • When upgrading to version 0.30.0
