Error downloading package metadata on Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Hello!

I recently got a copy of RHEL 9.4 boot ISO for my CST class.
During the installation problem i had a little snag with the software registration and i couldn't get past that for a couple of minutes until a couple of updates to my profile and a VMware restart. However after that when i went to set up the installation source i ran into problems. If i click auto-detect installation media it says "Error setting up base repository", and the Software Selection says "Error downloading package metadata". If i click on Red Hat CDN the installation source goes through fine but the software selection still says "Error downloading package metadata".

I've tried tried downloading an earlier version of the OS (9.3) which is what I'm currently running
