Can the number of RHDG 8 Pods be controlled using the OCP Custom Metrics Autoscaler Operator?

Issue

• A customer is considering for controlling the number of RHDG pods with Custom Metrics Autoscaler Operator[1](which is OCP's option).
• If a customer is using the automatic scaling of the data grid operator [2], it seems likely that using the custom metrics autoscaler operator of OCP will have an impact.
• However, the Automatic scaling of the Data Grid Operator can be used with Cache service type only. So if a customer does not use Data Grid Operator's auto-scaling, would it be possible for them to use OCP's Custom Metrics Autoscaler Operator?
