Issue

  • The system is getting resume automatically after issuing systemctl hibernate command.
  • The system is resuming automatically after invoking the systemctl hibernate command. When the system is set to hibernate, it creates a image in memory, writes it to disk, and then powers down. However, in this case the system never actually powers down and instead resumes automatically after a short period.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
  • Dell Inc. Precision 7960 CRS-SPR-DVT2-L10-C2 X02-00 tower.
    • Intel(R) Xeon(R) w9-3495X
