Issue

• Storage paths not automatically recovered during IBM 2145 SAN controller upgrade.

• We have performed a firmware update on one controller at a time on IBM 2145 SAN array, but observed that after a reboot of storage controller, the failed paths do not recover automatically.

  After waiting for ~20 minutes for the path recovery, a manual SCSI bus re-scan was required to recover the paths:
