After upgrading to RHOCP 4.14 some HTTP requests are lost

Issue

  • Random HTTP requests are lost while accessing OpenShift routes after 4.14 upgrade.
  • The introduction of HAProxy 2.6 as ingress controller in OpenShift 4.14 is causing HTTP traffic degradation.
  • Ingress traffic degradation after upgrade to 4.14.
  • OpenShift router pod is sending a reset packet after client sends an HTTP request.

  • Application started to throw following errors after RHOCP upgrade to 4.14:

    I/O exception (org.apache.http.NoHttpResponseException) caught when processing request
