  • Enabling SR-IOV in CX6 NIC with the RHEL in-kernel network driver causes a flood of multicast network traffic, similar in behaviour to a network loop

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (All versions)
  • Mellanox ConnectX-6 Lx
  • Mellanox ConnectX-6 Dx
  • NIC firmware equal or above 26.37.1700 and below 26.41.1000
  • SR-IOV enabled
