Unable to install OpenShift IPI cluster on vSphere

Issue

OpenShift IPI installation on vSphere is not complete, after one hour journal logs on master nodes continuously reports the following error:

Mar 01 08:53:41 <master> kubenswrapper[3419]: E0301 08:53:41.934284    3419 kubelet.go:2892] "Container runtime network not ready" networkReady="NetworkReady=false reason:NetworkPluginNotReady message:Network plugin returns error: No CNI configuration file in /etc/kubernetes/cni/net.d/. Has your network provider started?"
