Getting 'AMD-Vi: Failed to allocate IRTE' and 'not enough OS MSI-X vectors' errors

Issue

  • While booting up the system, console logs shows following errors for Intel E810-XXV network adapters:

    AMD-Vi: Failed to allocate IRTE
    ice 0000:01:00.0: not enough OS MSI-X vectors. requested = 520, obtained = 512
    ice 0000:01:00.0: Enabled 252 MSI-X vectors for LAN traffic.
    ice 0000:01:00.0: Enabled 256 MSI-X vectors for RDMA.
