Failed to create the workspace due to FailedScheduling event

Issue

  • When starting workspace, we get an error message almost immediately.
  • Failed to create the workspace with FailedScheduling: 0/10 nodes are available:
Error creating DevWorkspace deployment: Detected unrecoverable event FailedScheduling: 0/10 nodes are available: 10 pod has unbound immediate PersistentVolumeClaims. preemption: 0/10 nodes are available: 10 Preemption is not helpful for scheduling..
  • If we wait a few seconds and then press the restart button, and the PVC is created, the workspace will start.
