Issue

Why is the system asking to enter the root user's password to enable color mapped devices when accessing a remote (VNC, XDMCP) session.

Window asks for password with message:

Authentication is required to create a colord managed device
Password:

System is asking to enter root user's password to refresh system repositories. The following message window appears on login:
