API management with application

Hi, i wonder if anyone could help me or implement something like this,
I have created an application on APP.
and I want to be able to create an API token for access what is the easiest way to do this.
i have reviewed

following under Access rules for applications
my API path
/api/v2/tokens/ is empty

any help would be appricated
