Failed to auto start init script with 'Permission denied' error

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

I tried to install JBoss EAP zip distribution on RHEL. Since it comes with init script bin/init.d/jboss-eap-rhel.sh, I placed it in /etc/init.d directory, and enabled with chkconfig command.

When I invoke it manually, it works with no issue, but the init script fails with ‘Permission denied’error when it is invoked automatically during boot
