  • The following message can be seen on the backup teaming port at certain times.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went up.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went down.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went up.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went down.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went up.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went down.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went up.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went down.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went up.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went down.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went up.
teamd_team0[ID]: eth0: arp_ping-link went down.

The system has not gotten any effect, but the above message floods /var/log/messages.
