How are Nvidia GPUs certified for HP's muxless laptop?

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

The HP ZBook Power 15.6-inch G10 Mobile Workstation PC operates as a muxless laptop, where the integrated GPU (iGPU) is directly connected to both the laptop's flat panel and external outputs. This iGPU remains consistently active, managing the displays, graphical user interface (GUI), and processing 2D/3D applications. The dedicated GPU (dGPU) can be activated when necessary to handle more resource-intensive tasks such as rendering for demanding 2D, video, and 3D applications.

Within the BIOS settings, there are typically two selectable graphics modes: "UMA" and "Hybrid". To designate the dGPU as the primary renderer requires the use of Nvidia's proprietary driver and utility. However, for the RHEL hardware certification process, the use of third-party drivers is not permitted.
