ISTIO Ingress Gateway is reporting '/etc/istio/ingressgateway-certs/tls.crt: no such file or directory' error
Issue
- Applications deployed on the OpenShift ServiceMesh stack are not accessible.
- ISTIO Ingress Gateway POD is flooded with the errors like
context deadline exceeded with last error: open /etc/istio/ingressgateway-certs/tls.crt: no such file or directory. - ISTIO Ingress Gateway is unable to find the certificate
tls.crtinside the directory/etc/istio/ingressgateway-certs/in order to create a secret.
