Using Ipacertmapdata For Smart Card Mapping In Identity Management

Issue

• After IdM has been configured with the ipa-advise server and client scripts, an administrator may have a need to configure ipacertmap in order to do console/gdm logins for users instead of importing the full piv authentication certificate into IdM. Note- Certificate mappings like this do not work for SSHD based authentications, which instead requires the full user certificate to be added to IdM.
