Adding roles with special characters in RH-SSO client generates a "Resource not found" message

Issue

  • I am trying to add a role containing semicolon (;) to a client within RH-SSO and I get the following message when I click the save button:
Resource not found...
We could not find the resource you are looking for. Please make sure the URL you entered is correct.
  • The same error appears when trying to view "Users in Role" tab of the role.

Environment

  • Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH-SSO)
    • 7.6.4
